We get it – accreditation can be stressful. But take heart, the ARC/STSA and EdAccred are here to demystify the process and support new and experienced educators. Join ARC/STSA staff who will guide you through CAAHEP Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Standards & Guidelines and ARC/STSA policies.
The virtual AFE includes hands-on experiences, interactive presentations, and networking with your fellow educators, with frequent breaks to avoid Zoom fatigue. We’ll prepare your team for Virtual and On-Site Evaluations, review how to effectively respond to Findings Letters, and detail how to maintain accreditation.
This workshop will benefit new and experienced program directors, clinical coordinators, instructors, as well as deans and compliance professionals. It is required for all program directors within one year of appointment and required for program directors to attend within the 12-month period prior to a scheduled site evaluation, per the ARC/STSA AFE Workshop Policy.

Registration For 2026 Virtual AFE Workshops
The virtual AFE includes interactive presentations, networking with your fellow educators, and frequent breaks to avoid Zoom fatigue. We’ll prepare your team for Site Evaluations, review how to effectively respond to Findings Letters, and detail how to achieve and maintain accreditation.
If you register for the AFE Workshop and cannot attend, the registration may be transferred to another person at your institution at no charge.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:
Earn 8 CE credits for attending the workshop.
Attendees must participate both days to receive credit. The workshop is held 10:00 am – 2:30 pm Mountain Time on each day.
February 12-13, 2026 Virtual AFE
10:00 a.m. MT – 2:30 p.m. MT
Cost: $300 (Due by January 29, 2026)
Registration is not complete until payment is received. Confirmation of registration will be sent after payment is received.
Cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing by January 29, 2026. Refunds will be processed 4–6 weeks after the AFE has occurred, minus a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellation requests received after January 29, 2026.
April 30 – May 1, 2026 Virtual AFE

Cost: $300 (Due by April 16, 2026)
