2025 Chris Keegan Memorial Educator Scholarship Recipients
ARC/STSA educators play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of surgical technologists and surgical assistants, ensuring they are prepared to meet the demands of the operating room and advocating for their patients.
The Chris Keegan Memorial Educator Scholarships supports ARC/STSA surgical technology and surgical assisting educators, and/or program directors, with funding for professional development activities.
Chris Keegan, MA, CST, FAST, was a surgical technology program director, volunteer leader of the ARC/STSA, and advocate of professional growth for educators. In her memory, the 2025 scholarship is dedicated to empowering educators by providing three conference registrations and hotel for two nights at AccredX 2025 in Louisville, KY. This is a terrific opportunity to learn and grow!
2025 Scholarship Awardees
In 2025, the ARC/STSA awarded a total of $3,000 in professional development funding to support up to three educators in attending AccredX 2025.
