Communications Manager

Seeking a dynamic, strategic, and creative Communications Manager to develop and manage our organizational messaging to align with the ARC/STSA’s mission, support educators from our accredited programs, and provide informational outreach to our communities of interest.

The Communications Manager will create content for our website, eblasts, newsletter,  and social media channels, and assist in the development of educational webinars, workshops and conferences.

Candidates must have exceptional media writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills.  Proficiency with digital tools – such as basic website and graphic design, email marketing and social media platforms, and video editing – is preferred.

Operations Coordinator

Seeking an enthusiastic professional with strong analytical, administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail and quality assurance. The Operations Coordinator will administer and streamline day-to-day operational activities, implement new workflows, and assist with accounting activities.

The ARC/STSA

Since 1972, the ARC/STSA has set the gold standard for education in surgical technology and surgical assisting. The ARC/STSA is a private, non-profit accreditation services agency that provides national recognition for more than 400 higher education programs in surgical technology and surgical assisting.

ARC/STSA evaluates surgical technology and surgical assisting educational programs and makes accreditation recommendations to the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).  Working in collaboration with the ARC/STSA, CAAHEP is the largest nationally recognized programmatic accreditor of surgical technology programs and the only nationally recognized programmatic accreditor of surgical assisting programs.

The mission of the ARC/STSA is to provide accreditation services to our communities of interest that validate excellence of educational programs in order to advance the professions and ensure quality patient care.
