2010 Scholarship Program Information

The Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting* (ARC/STSA) is pleased to announce the launch of our 2010 Scholarship Program in service to the Surgical Technology student and educator communities.

Annually since 2005, the ARC/STSA Board of Directors awards multiple scholarships of up to $1000 in each of three separate categories. In 2009, the ARC/STSA awarded $3000 in scholarships to 4 students and 1 educator.

2010 Scholarship Categories in Surgical Technology:

• Student Scholarship
• Educator’s Scholarship – Credential Completion
• Educator’s Scholarship – Advanced Degree

Application forms detailing eligibility requirements for each of the scholarship categories can be obtained by clicking on the links above.

Applications must be filled out completely, include required support materials and be received at ARC/STSA offices on or before the deadline.

All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply. The deadline for all scholarship applications is March 1, 2010.

Scholarship recipients will be announced at the 2010 AST National Conference and will post online at www.arcstsa.org by June 14, 2010.
